Not just the fastest for a select few under very specific conditions. Quite simply the fastest, for everyone who cares about going fast, no matter where or on what track.
Faster uphill
It’s faster than lightweight road bikes on climbs up to 6% or more, depending on the rider’s power. To put it in perspective: The hardest climbs in the Tour have a gradient of 7-8% on average.
Faster. Everywhere.
Of all the resistance you have to overcome on the way to top speed, air resistance is the biggest. Its effect is usually greater than that of all other driving resistances combined. Better aerodynamics means higher speed with less effort in every conceivable way. And in many ways you could not have imagined.
Faster downhill
On a five percent downhill, a rider on a traditional lightweight road bike needs about 300 watts to keep up with a SystemSix rider pedalling loosely in the basics.
Faster sprinting
At 48 km/h, the SystemSix saves you more than 50 watts. That’s huge when you consider that the functional threshold power of a category 1 cyclist is 350 watts. And even when you’re just rolling, you retain up to 60 percent of the savings.
Faster on the flat
At 48 km/h, the SystemSix saves you more than 50 watts. This is huge when you consider that the functional threshold power of a category 1 cyclist is 350 watts. And even when you’re just rolling, you retain up to 60 percent of the savings.
Faster every day – Faster every day – Even at a moderate pace in a group, a SystemSix requires about 10 percent less power input. This saves you exactly the energy you need when it counts.
Frame & fork
To reduce drag, the frame and fork feature a highly adapted airfoil design that keeps airflow constant across all relevant angles of attack and minimises turbulence. The pronounced asymmetry of the frame ensures direct power transmission during acceleration and braking.
64 KNØT wheels
The central component in the SystemSix project are the HollowGram 64 KNØT wheels. They are among the fastest wheelsets in the world. Its unique design combines the speed advantages of a high-profile aero wheelset with the riding advantages of large-volume tyres.
HollowGram KNØT handlebar and stem system
This clever detail of the Tempozauberer reduces drag and combines the elegant look of one-piece systems with the convenient and comprehensive adjustability of two separate components. The carbon handlebar allows a full eight degrees of tilt adjustment and is available in a range of widths to help you find your perfect riding position. The rounded wing design ensures constant airflow without turbulence or stalls across the full range of angle settings. The result: an aerodynamic riding position at any handlebar setting and much more comfort for your hands than handlebars with corners and edges.
KNØT seatpost
Often overlooked, but an essential part of the overall system. The airfoil-shaped surface of the HollowGram KNØT seatpost has been specially designed to minimise the turbulence generated by the rider’s legs at high pedalling frequencies. In this way, it reduces the overall air resistance.
